Dr Peter Hammond
Dr Hammond has been endocrinology lead for the Leeds Regional Gender Identity Service since 2007 and is on the Gender Recognition Panel’s list of gender specialists. He has considerable experience in balancing hormone treatment so that clients’ expectations can be met as effectively and safely as possible.

Dr Leong has extensive experience in treating transgender people and has been supporting both trans and non-binary people and their clinicians in the management of their specific endocrinological needs for over a decade.
He has also been instrumental in the development of the Cheshire and Mersey Adult Gender Collaborative (CMAGIC) pilot for NHS England providing specialist services for trans and non-binary people on Cheshire and Merseyside.

Nikhil Maini is the facial feminisation surgeon at Nuffield Health Brighton. He is certified by the General Medical Council as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon holding university degrees in Medicine and Dentistry. Mr Maini completed his higher surgical training at the world famous Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, as well as in Brighton and Eastbourne.

FFS is not part of the NHS referral pathway. You must make your own enquiries and decisions regarding this and this is often no longer sought as one progresses with transition and is otherwise delayed until NHS pathway equivalent completed. Please undertake careful research in all aspects of decision.

The starting point for those seeking help in this area is voice coaching and outcomes for voice and communication skills alone are excellent. Voice surgery is not part of the NHS pathway and often not necessary and if you do wish to consider this please undertake careful research.
